The system has magnets that are assignable to a movable component (3) of a piston-cylinder-aggregate. A sensor system (4) is arranged at a fixed component (2) of the piston-cylinder-aggregate. The sensor system is in connection with the magnets for detection of a position of the movable component. A magnetizable or magnetized region (M) is integrated in the movable component, and the region is formed of magnetizable material. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a movable component of a piston-cylinder-aggregate.
