Reversing switches are provided for shutting off the regular power supply (1) for the automatic and manual controls. A time relay (7) is located in the manual operation circuit in between the up and down switches for the sun shade. An up/down switch is connected to the manual control circuit. A bypass connection is provided for all the up switches and a bypass connection is also provided for all the down switches. The regular power supply is also capable of providing a back-up power supply in the event of an emergency.
