An apparatus for humidifying high efficiency supercharged air for an internal combustion engine is provided to maximize the evaporation effect of humidifying water by installing a packing layer expanding the gas liquid contact surface in an extension passage. An apparatus for humidifying high efficiency supercharged air for an internal combustion engine humidifies the supercharged air supplied to an expansion passage(3) and an extension passage(4) by a supercharger(2) by injecting the humidifying water to the expansion passage and the extension passage. An injection nozzle(9) injecting the humidifying water and steam is installed in the expansion pipe passage. A humidifying water injection nozzle jecting only humidifying water is installed in the extension passage. The expansion pipe passage and the extension pipe passage are installed along the exhaust pipe for discharging the exhaust gas.
