A mobile communication terminal capable of making facial expression and a method for the same are provided to allow a user to feel intimacy for the mobile terminal by making the mobile terminal have human or animal face form. A plurality of input/output modules exist in specific positions of the mobile terminal corresponding to human or animal facial components. A driver(340) is driven such that the shapes of the input/output modules are changed. A controller(330) drives the driver(340) to change the shapes of the input/output modules, thereby controlling facial expression. The input/output modules include at least one camera corresponding to a human or animal eye and at least one illumination device corresponding to an eyebrow. The shape of the eye or the shape of the eyebrow is changed by the driver(340).
