R = quaternary phosphonium, ammonium, isothiuronium or sulfonium; M1> = a metal with an oxidation number of 4; M2> = a metal with an oxidation number of 2 or 3; M3> = a metal with an oxidation number of 3; X, Y, Z, W = halide ions; m = 0 or 2 or fractions of which the sum is 2; x = 2 or 4; n, p, q = 3 or 4 or fractions of which the sum is 3 or 4. #CMT#ACTIVITY : #/CMT# Cytostatic. The crystals were filtered, washed with methanol/ether (1:10) and dried to give bis(triphenylphosphine) germane tris(tetrachlorocerate) tetrachlorovanadate (1.2 g).
