PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filtering method and a filtration apparatus, in each of which filtration is performed with high precision and much more liquid waste can be reused. SOLUTION: The filtration apparatus is composed of: a convection tank 20 from the lower jetting part 15 of which liquid waste W is jetted toward the inside of a tank 11 together with air bubbles b1 to form foamed liquid waste B and in which the foamed liquid waste B is circulated upward in the tank 11 by convection; an overflow part 30 formed so that the foamed liquid waste B to be positioned in the upper part of the convection tank 20 overflows; and a filtering member 40 for filtering the foamed liquid waste B from the overflow part 30.
