The roof (9) has two successive roof units (13, 14) that are engaged into an opening (10) between a windshield frame and a body frame structure of a vehicle. A positive connection is provided between the roof units in a common area of the roof units in such a manner that both of the roof units are fixed against each other in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle when the roof is closed. The positive connection is formed by a pin at the roof unit, where the pin is designed as a single piece with one of the roof unit.
