<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To heat a snout to a high temperature without using an electric heater. <P>SOLUTION: The lower end part of the snout 11 is dipped in molten zinc, and the upper end part of the snout 11 is connected to a bus bar 33. Thereby, a secondary coil 34 comprising band steel H, the molten zinc B, the snout 11, the bus bar 33, and an electroconductive roll 30 is constituted. An insulating body is interposed between the snout 11 and a casing 40 provided at the upstream side of the snout 11. Then, the snout 11 is heated by Joule heat to at least a temperature lower by 100°C than the temperature of the molten zinc by introducing an electric current to the secondary coil to apply the electric current to the snout 11 by using an electrical heating device 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
