PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitting for protecting not to crush the upper end of a single pipe by hammering when driving the single pipe into the ground. SOLUTION: The single pipe can be hammered with a round rod with a metal step with a leg part (a narrow part of the round rod) inserted in the single pipe. A portion, abutting on the upper end of the single pipe, of the lower face of a head part (a thick part of the round rod) is a groove spread in umbrella shape with an inclination of 15-25°, which is put over the single pipe.
