PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceiling inspection hole which is safe because an inner frame body is not put in a rapid opening/closing motion when opened/closed, which prevents a load from being imposed on a rotating part, and which hardly causes a hindrance etc. over a long period of time. SOLUTION: This ceiling inspection hole comprises an outer frame body which is mounted on an opening opened in a ceiling board, and the inner frame body which is assembled to the opening of the outer frame body in such a manner as to be capable of being opened/closed by an opening/closing mechanism. The opening/closing mechanism is composed of a plurality of plate-like opening/closing components. The plurality of opening/closing components are journaled on each of an opening/closing-mechanism mounting component, fixed to the outer frame body, and the inner frame body in such a manner as to be rotatable at one end. The opening/closing components are mutually and rotatably journaled on the other opening/closing components so as to constitute a link mechanism. When a force acts in an opening/closing direction in the opening/closing of the inner frame body, the inner frame body is put in a slow and smooth opening/closing motion. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
