<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet member with a reinforcing member which hardly causes a defect and is easy in handling. <P>SOLUTION: The sheet member with a reinforcing member is provided in which a laminated sheet 11 is reinforced by a reinforcing plate 30 to thereby suppress a deformation or bending of the laminated sheet 11, so that a defect such as a folded mark can be prevented from occurring on the laminated sheet 11 and handling of the laminated sheet 11 becomes easy, wherein the reinforcing plate 30 and the laminated sheet 11 are superimposed to each other with length directions aligned to thereby reinforce the laminated sheet 11 in a longitudinal direction in which it is easily deformed, so that deformation or bending can be effectively prevented. The reinforcing plate 30 sticks to a release sheet 14 covering a surface of an adhesive layer 13 provided on a surface of a polarizing plate 12, the reinforcing plate 30 is applied on a corner 14A of the release sheet 14, and one end in a length direction of the reinforcing plate 30 protrudes outside from a side edge 11B on a short side of the laminated sheet 11 to form a protruding portion 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
