PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication control system which reduces the waiting time for connecting a portable terminal to an access point. SOLUTION: A control PC 4 of the communication control system 1 comprises a connection information memory 19 for storing the connection number, i.e., the maximum connectable number minus the controlling connection number at an access point (BTAP) 3 as the maximum usable connection number and the now used connection number at the BTAP 3, and a server connection controller 20 which receives a connection request from a portable terminal 2, decides the BTAP 3 having the usable connection number less than the maximum usable connection number to be a connection-permitted BTAP 3, and informs the portable terminal 2 of the connection-permitted BTAP 3. Upon receipt of a notice from the control PC 4, the portable terminal 2 of the communication control system 1 connects to the connection-permitted BTAP 3. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
