摘要	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophoretic display medium which has improved reliability of hermetic sealing and with which excellent display performance is demonstrated, by utilizing a structure of which the end-seal section for end-sealing a hole for filling after filling of a liquid for an electrophoretic display is easily cleaned or treated, in manufacturing the electrophoretic display medium. SOLUTION: The electrophoretic display medium A which has a light transmissive substrate 10 with an electrode formed thereon, a substrate 15 with an electrode placed opposite to the substrate, the liquid for the electrophoretic display which is filled between mutually opposing substrates 10, 15 and which contains at least one or more kinds of electrophoretic particles, and a seal section 11 to seal the liquid for the display between the substrates 10, 15, is characterized by having a portion of the seal section 11 arranged on the outside portion 10a of the mutually opposing portion.
