PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiving device for selectively using navigation information which provides a user interface according to a user. SOLUTION: A broadcast receiving device receives broadcast data as a transport stream to be transmitted by multiplexing video data and a plurality of navigation information sequences configured of navigation information including graphics data to be combined with the video data for display. The video data and navigation information are extracted from the received transport stream. In this case, the navigation information is extracted from one navigation information sequence which is suitable for the broadcast receiving device for storage.
