PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute mutual switching between digital sound broadcast and analog sound broadcast by searching a common program between the digital sound broadcast and the analog sound broadcast, even when a program correspondence table between the analog sound broadcast and the digital sound broadcast is unavailable. SOLUTION: A radio receiver 100 is provided with: a tuner 101 for analog broadcast; an analog broadcast decoder 102; an analog broadcast program information acquiring part 105; a tuner 110 for digital broadcast; a digital broadcast decoder 111; a digital program information acquiring part 112; an output 130; a searching part 106 which searches a broadcasting station broadcasting a program of the digital sound broadcast of the same program as that of the analog sound broadcast, or a program of the analog sound broadcast of the same program as that of the digital sound broadcast, on the basis of analog sound broadcast program information; and digital sound broadcast program information; and an output switching part 120 for switching output to the analog sound broadcast searched from the outputting digital sound broadcast, or to the digital sound broadcast searched from the outputting analog sound broadcast.
