PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conversion facility capable of always smoothly executing changeover while sufficiently securing changeover guide length in a changeover means. SOLUTION: A guide device for guiding a body 86 to be guided which is mounted on the side of an article laterally-pressing body 70 comprises a pair of left and right inner movement guide parts, and a pair of outer movement guide parts facing to ends of the inner movement guide parts through the changeover means 110. The changeover means includes a merge guide part, branch guide parts and a changeover guide part 120 for allocating the body to be guided from the merge guide part to both the branch guide parts. The changeover guide part has an upper guide body 126 and a lower guide body 128, and is structured so that the upper guide body is made to execute a changeover operation by moving force in the direction of a main transport passage on the article laterally-pressing body side, and the lower guide body is made to execute a changeover operation in an integral form in the last half of the changeover operation. The changeover guide length of the changeover means can be sufficiently secured by both the guide bodies, and changeover through both the guide bodies can be always smoothly executed.
