There are provided nonwoven materials comprising a silver complex. In one embodiment a nonwoven material has antimicrobial activity and contains a silver complex in an amount such that the nonwoven material comprises silver in an amount of between 0.0002mg cm<SUP>-2</SUP> and 0.0094mg cm<SUP>-2</SUP>. Also provided are medical products, packaged products, and methods of treating wounds and the manufacture of medical products.
