PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide operation type switch which smoothly performs an operation in slide direction and a pushing operation crossing at right angles to the slide operation direction. SOLUTION: An operating unit 2 of disc shape and a support unit 3 of disc shape are housed superposed in a case 1, and eight movable contacts 4 and fixed contacts 5 corresponding to these are arranged in positions surrounding the operating unit 2. The support unit 3 is inserted into the inner space of a holding unit 6 conducted to the eight fixed contacts 5, and this holding unit 6 functions as a guide mechanism A to allow displacement in pushing direction of the operating unit 2 and the support unit 3.
