PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the slippage in the mounting position of a planar workpiece by a manual operation. SOLUTION: The workpiece mounting device 1 is provided with: a hanger positioning means 2 for fixing a hanger 6 capable of mounting a planar workpiece W to a prescribed position; a workpiece guiding means 3 having a workpiece guide 31 for guiding the side face of the planar workpiece W; a clamper operating means 4 of performing the opening and closing of a clamper by pressing the clamper.
