PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agricultural mulch material enabling drainage at a low cost, and preventing weeds and occurrence of disease damage. SOLUTION: This longer length agricultural mulch material covers the top and both the sides of at least one ridge 2 formed on a field 1, and the field surfaces of both the sides of the ridge 2, and has a slit for water extracting hole at least on an area covering the field surface. The longer length agricultural mulch material is preferably wide enough to cover the top and both the sides of two ridges 2 formed on the field 1, and the field surfaces of both the sides of the ridges 2.
