<p>Eyeglasses, particularly sports eyeglasses or the like, characterized in that they are formed of a sheet (1) of flexible plastic material, which is transparent over at least part of its surface, which sheet is shaped to form a nose receiving recess and extends at the two opposite ends along an axis parallel to the interpupillary line by at least one, preferably two or more strap elements (7) or the like, which are or may be fastened together so that the strap element/ s (7) , when connected together in an eyeglass wearing condition, act as a means for pulling the opposite ends of the plastic sheet (1) towards each other, for retention, wearing position adjustment and anatomical bending of at least part of said plastic sheet (1) , said sheet (1) having a first stiffness, and there being provided a stiffening region (3) on said plastic sheet (1) in the upper portion of the interpupillary area, said stiffening region (3) having a second stiffness, and said first stiffness of said sheet being lower than said second stiffness of said stiffening region, so that, as the eyeglasses are worn, the sheet is bent with different radiuses of curvature along the extension of said sheet.</p> |
