<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shape recognition device for accurately recognizing the shape of a surface under measurement, even if deformation has occurred therein due to spring back, etc. <P>SOLUTION: This shape recognition device 50 for performing shape recognition, based on three-dimensional measurement data on the surface under measurement, is equipped with an approximated curve application means 43 for severally applying first approximated curves, each having a certain curvature to a plurality of first data groups along the length direction of a cross section among two-dimensional cross-section data of measurement data representing unevenness of the surface under measurement; a curvature derivation means 44 for deriving the curvatures of the plurality of the first approximated curves; a uniformity range determination means 45 for determining the uniformity range in which curvatures are uniform along the length direction of the cross section, based on data on change in the cross section along the length direction on the plurality of curvatures derived by the derivation means 44; and an approximated curve derivation means 46 for deriving second approximated curves, each having a certain curvature with respect to a second data group existing in the uniformity range determined by the determination means 45 among the cross-section data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
