PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor and a manufacturing method of the motor by which inertia of a rotor is adjusted to be a target value, and a manufacturing cost is reduced by making components common between a plurality of kinds of the motors in which the required inertia of the rotors is different. SOLUTION: The brushless motor 1 includes a rotor 20 and a stator 10. The rotor 20 has an annular magnet 26; an annular core 22 which is arranged at an inner peripheral side of the magnet 26, and in which a through hole 24 penetrating in an axial direction is formed; and a shaft 21 which is inserted into the through hole 24 of the core 22, and is fixed to the core 22. In the core 22, a plurality of split cores 23 are arranged on the same axis; and in the split cores 23, a recess 25a set according to the inertia of the core 22 is formed on an annular surface 25 which faces in the axial direction.
