The member has a lower cross beam (4) consisting of a frame body with a flange that runs along edges and protrudes outward. The lower cross beam consists of a closure part that is attached on the cross beam congruently at its edge region. The frame body and the closure part are made of a rigid material e.g. steel. The flange of the frame body and the edge region of the closure part are coated by plastic used for a hybrid design. The flange of the body and the edge region of the closure part are connected with each other and with side brackets (2).
