<p>A cryosurgery mask (10) includes a flexible sheet (10) having a non-adhesive upper surface (22) and a lower skin-facing surface (21) having a silicone gel adhesive layer (24). A release film (23) covers the lower surface and can be peeled away to expose the lower surface to the skin. An aperture (11) is cut in the sheet to allow the sheet to be placed over an area of tissue with the target tissue within the aperture. The gel adhesive retains it's adhesiveness down to -50 degrees Centigrade allowing the mask to stay in place during cryosurgery.</p> |
