A REMOTE MONITORING CENTRALIZED AIR CONDITIONER SYSTEM AND CORRESPONDING GROUP CONTROL METHORD

A remote monitoring digital multiple air conditioner system and corresponding group control method, which relates to home appliances of remote operation. In the method, computer polls all the communication modules ,and then sends group information to every communication module, the operation status information of each indoor units that connects to the communication module is acquired by the communication module at the same time (S5). Next step is performing the group control, that is the computer sends both the group number of a set of indoor units that requiring controlled and the control information to every communication module, and each communication module sends the control information to the indoor units which connecting to the communication modules and matching to the group number, the matched indoor units respond it, then completely control (S6). The remote monitoring centralized air conditioner system includes upper machine which has an apparatus with function of receiving and sending information, and lower machine which at least contains a set of units including a communication module, an outdoor unit, a plurality of indoor units. The upper machine and the indoor units of the lower machine communicate each other over the communication modules. The advantage of present invention is that users can control the indoor units in manner of either machine units or user-defined groups.
