PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving person detecting device for detecting a moving person capable of surely detecting the approaching person in a vehicle like a motor car. SOLUTION: The moving person detecting device comprises: the transmission/reception antenna 2 and the transmission/reception circuit 3 for transmitting radio wave to the detecting area and detecting the reflected radio wave; and the Doppler wave form process circuit 4 for forming the Doppler wave from the received radio wave, and forming the frequency characteristics from the Doppler wave form, and detecting the moving person from the moving speed of the person himself and existence of the two frequency components of action speeds of legs and arms.
