PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend the service life of a battery and to secure minimum amounts of power capable of being operated as a camera in a digital camera incorporated with a television. SOLUTION: When using a non-camera unit of large power consumption such as a television, the use of the non-camera unit of the large power consumption is ended when the residual capacity of the battery 13 reaches a prescribed value or below. The prescribed value of the residual capacity of the battery 13 can be set corresponding to the preference of a user so as to make the photographing of fixed time or a fixed number possible as the camera.
