<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set setting data for generating the various kinds of timing signals at high speed. SOLUTION: A timing pulse generation circuit 112 is provided with data setting circuits A 114, B 116 and C 118 for respectively outputting the plural setting data for generating the timing signals and the setting data are set to the timing pulse generation circuit 112 at the time of activating a camera and at timings corresponding to respective operation modes. The timing pulse generation circuit 112 generates the timing signals corresponding to the set data, supplies the generated timing signals to a solid-state image pickup device 100 and a processing circuit 106 and makes them perform operations corresponding to the timing signals.</p> |
