<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag door that allows easy opening of the air bag door, does not damage expansion property of an air bag, and has a tier line invisible from a surface of an instrument panel. <P>SOLUTION: This air bag door is formed in the instrument panel 1 and has the tier line 2 developed by expansion pressure in operating the air bag. The tier line 2 is formed of a plurality of at least two kinds of deep and shallow holes formed intermittently like broken lines from the back side of the instrument panel 1 by laser machining. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
