FIELD: mechanical engineering; conveyors. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to overhead belt conveyors for handling lump and loose materials. Proposed conveyor contains posts, endless belt closed on drive, tension and deflection drums to form carrying and return runs of belt. Carrying members of belt are provided with flanges normally orientated to surface of belt to provide resting of flanges of carrying members of carrying and return runs of belt on two disk rollers with rounded off rims installed for rotation of fixed axles square to each other and arranged on conveyor posts. Flanges are provided with wedge slot cutouts normal to belt surface made over entire width of projecting part of flange. Carrying members are attached to outer surface of belt sides. Cylindrical rollers are arranged between side edges of carrying and return runs of belt for rotation of fixed axles found inside U-shaped brackets and fixed in brackets. Brackets are furnished with flanges by means of which they are fastened on posts. Axle of each cylindrical roller is made stepped, with possibility of thrusting against cross-member and flange of U-shaped bracket. Axles of disk rollers are displaced in plan relative to axle of cylindrical roller through value of their radius to provide possibility of use of belt of standard design and catching of broken belt. ^ EFFECT: improved reliability in operating, possibility of catching broken belt. ^ 3 dwg |
