The removable cover for a convertible sofa-bed (1) has its two surfaces (17, 19) made from different fabrics - one suitable for bedding such as cotton, cotton-polyester, linen, silk or flannelette, and the other of furnishing fabric. The cover is fitted to the folding sofabed mattress (9, 11) by detachable fastenings (20, 21) such as sliding clasp fasteners, and incorporates at least one inner fold (25) that makes it substantially wider than the mattress in the sleeping configuration.
