A plasma display panel is provided to enhance luminescent brightness and discharge efficiency in a plasma discharge process by improving an electrode structure thereof. A plurality of scan bus electrodes(510b) and a plurality of sustain bus electrodes(530b) are disposed opposite to a plurality of scan transparent electrodes(510a) and a plurality of sustain transparent electrodes(530a). A plurality of barrier ribs(540) are disposed to define discharge cells which are formed at intersections between the scan and sustain bus electrodes and the scan and sustain transparent electrodes. A part of patterns of the scan and sustain bus electrodes is oriented adjacently to the scan and sustain transparent electrodes in the longitudinal direction of the barrier ribs. |
