Traffic management system for traffic circle has sensors for transmitting signal to control unit when congestion occurs at corresponding entrances

A control unit regulates traffic lights installed at each of the entrances to the traffic circle at the center of which sensors are oriented relative to the traffic lights for detecting the level of traffic congestion. When a sensor detects congestion at the corresponding entrance, the sensor transmits a signal to the control unit which causes the corresponding traffic light to turn green while the other traffic lights turn red. The traffic light turns red when the congestion at the entrance has been reduced.
