<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication terminal, a mobile communication system and a communication method which can reduce consumption power. <P>SOLUTION: The mobile communication terminal is a so-called dual terminal which is provided with a PDC communication processing part 102 for processing communication by PDC system and a W-CDMA communication processing part for processing communication by W-CDMA system. In the early stage, the PDC communication processing part 102 is put in a starting state, and the W-CDMA communication processing part 101 is put in a stopped state. The PDC communication processing part 102 receives start request transmitted from a PDC base station 2.
