The device has a detector with an oscillating circuit for detecting an occupying condition of storage spaces (12, 13, 14). The oscillating circuit has a capacitor that is arranged in such a manner that change of the occupying condition of the storage spaces assigned to the oscillation circuit causes change of capacity of the capacitor. The detector has an oscillation generator for generating an oscillation in the oscillation circuit in a frequency range of 100 kilohertz (kHz).
