The circuit (1) has a mixer (5) that is connected in a signal path for down-mixing a received signal. A compensation unit (11) determines DC-offset that occurs in the signal path behind an output of the mixer, and is supplied with a compensation value in the signal path for compensation in the DC-offset. The compensation value is detected based on the determined DC-offset. An adapting unit adapts the compensation value to the DC-offset, where the compensation value is detected by the compensation. An independent claim is also included for a method for processing a signal received by a radio.
