METHOD FOR CHECKING CALL POSSIBLE CHANNEL IN CALL STANDBY STATE OF SPREAD SPECTRUM MODE WIRELESS TELEPHONE

PURPOSE: A method for checking a call possible channel in call standby state of spread spectrum mode wireless telephone is to reduce a time required for forming a link by a hand set and body of a wireless telephone. CONSTITUTION: A method for setting a communication possible channel with a hand set and a body of wireless telephone using a spread spectrum mode in call standby state comprises the steps of: (a) determining whether or not a signal level of receiving channel having a predetermined time interval is more than a predetermined reference value in the call standby state; (b) maintaining the current receiving channel by feed backing to the step (a) when the level is less than the reference value; and (c) alternatively setting a call channel formed between the hand set and the body before the call standby state and a receiving possible other channel to the receiving channel when the level is more than the reference value.
