Bicycles (2) are transported within the shed by transport devices (5, 6) designed so that the bicycles extend parallel to each other and the length direction of each bicycle extends at a slanting angle relative to the bicycle transport direction. The bicycle length direction extends at 70 deg. relative to the transport direction. The displacement device comprises at least one chain, link belt or preferably a screw spindle. An independent claimS is also included for a bicycle for use in this system, provided with at least one bracket (11, 12) at the front and back ends for cooperating with the displacement device.
