PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem such that conventional image reader may have affected a read time resulting from waiting for the luminous quantity until it is stabilized for reading of desired image information excellently because a lighting light source requires a prescribed time until the luminous quantity is stable after the start of lighting by a lighting signal. SOLUTION: The image reader is characterized by that the image reader is provided with a photoelectric conversion means that reads an object image to output an electric signal, a member to correct ununiformity of image information by an image read means, and a control means that controls read start timing of an image of the member by the photoelectric conversion means according to the image processing mode. |
