<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liquid droplet discharge apparatus at a low cost which can prevent deterioration in the accuracy of liquid droplet landing positions caused by the deformation of a long member by an environmental temperature change. <P>SOLUTION: The upper face and the lower face of both ends of the long member 168 are fixed to support pieces 180, 182 with face each other and are in face-contact to the support pieces, making the support position of the long member 168 in face-symmetrical relative to the neutral plane H of the long member 168. This enables the displacement amount of the long member 168 in the thickness direction caused by thermal expansion to be made substantially the same, in the longitudinal direction of the long member 168 and a head unit 178. Practically, the bending of the long member 168 caused by an environmental temperature change can be prevented, enhancing the accuracy of the ink droplet landing position for a high quality image, with the improved reliability of an inkjet recording head.
