PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a noise cancel device and cancel method for stably suppressing noise while suppressing computational complexity of processing. SOLUTION: The noise cancel device related to the present invention includes: a plurality of device input units; a switching unit 3 for selecting one of the plurality of device input units 1-1, 1-2, ..., 1-n; a storage unit 5 for storing a plurality of noise patterns corresponding to the plurality of device input units 1-1, 1-2, ..., 1-n, respectively; and a noise cancel unit 4 which performs noise subtraction processing using a noise pattern corresponding to the device input unit 1-1, 1-2, ..., 1-n stored in the storage unit 5 on an input signal inputted via the device input unit 1-1, 1-2, ..., 1-n selected by the switching unit 3 and which updates the noise pattern stored in the storage unit into a new noise pattern obtained by subtraction processing.
