<p>Disclosed is a method for stabilization of reduced coenzyme Q<SUB>10</SUB>, which is characterized by adding a propylene glycol fatty acid ester to a composition containing reduced coenzyme Q<SUB>10</SUB>. Also disclosed is a composition comprising reduced coenzyme Q<SUB>10</SUB> and a propylene glycol fatty acid ester as essential ingredients. Reduced coenzyme Q<SUB>10</SUB> is useful as a food, a nutritional and functional food, a food for specified health uses, a nutritious supplement, a nutritional agent, a veterinary drug, a beverage, a feeding stuff, a cosmetic, a pharmaceutical, a therapeutic agent, a prophylactic agent or the like. Reduced coenzyme Q10 can be stabilized without the need of being formulated in a particularly complex composition.</p> |
