PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery capable of enhancing high temperature characteristics. SOLUTION: A separator is impregnated with an electrolyte. The electrolyte contains a solvent and an electrolyte salt. The solvent contains halogenated ethyl carbonate such as 4-fluoro-1,3-dioxolane and a phosphorus-containing compound such as trimethyl phosphate.
