PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information storage apparatus and the like by which a richly expressive reproduction can be attained.

SOLUTION: The information storage medium has such data structure that a manifest (MNFST) indication initial setting information of application is referred from a play list (PLLST) managing reproduction display of a reproduction display object, while a mark up (MRKUP) for reproduction display can be referred from the manifest (MNFST), and in which at least the play list (PLLST) is recorded.
