PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spindle motor for preventing the of stained fine particles from a stator winding, and considerably suppressing the electromagnetic noise. SOLUTION: The spindle motor comprises a stationary base flange 1 which supports a central spindle 2; a hub 3, which is positioned pivoting on the spindle 2 with the aid of a suitable bearing 4 and on which at least one fixed-memory disk is arranged and is provided with a permanent magnet 7 on the inside circumference; and a stator 8 provided with a stator winding 9 which is arranged at the base flange 1 and positioned facing the permanent magnet 7, and the stator 8 is completely extrusion-coated with an elastic material 16 and connected to the base flange 1.
