PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote controller with a track pad, along with a remote control system and remote control method, which quickly and accurately controls volume, balance, or the like, with no such degradation as of resistors. SOLUTION: The remote controller is provided with: a track pad 6 for detecting position information of fingers; and a calculator 9 that calculates the rotational angle around a first finger based on the position information of the first finger on the track pad 6 and that of start point and end point of a second finger, and generates an instruction signal for controlling volume and left-right balance of an acoustic equipment based on the rotational angle. It also comprises a remote control signal generator 10 that modulates and amplifies the instruction signal to generate remote control signals. So, the acoustic equipment is quickly and accurately controlled in such analogous feeling as a resistor is revolved while preventing disorders due to wear of contact points.
