PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snorkel with a water-shutting off device having a structure that a user does not generate panic relative to intrusion of sea water by sudden billow and the user's diving action. SOLUTION: By inserting a float such as a ping-pong ball at the inside of the water-shutting off device and providing a projection for supporting the float of grate shape on a lower part of the shutting off device, the water-shutting off safety device for the snorkel is constituted such that an upper part of the shutting off device is made to a flannel shape, flowing-in of air can be smoothly performed and passing of water can be suppressed. The device may be made to a constitution that a double bottom structure having a large number of ventilation holes instead of the support member of the grate shape is provided on a lower part of the shutting off device to support the float.
