METHOD OF RE-LAYING OF TRACK SKELETONS

FIELD: railway transport; permanent way. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention can be used at replacement of long-length track skeleton delivered to place of laying in assembled state. According to proposed method, new track skeleton located on train in vertical plane is shifted into horizontal position. End of old track skeleton is raised and fitted into free cell on train and old skeleton is loaded on train. End of new track skeleton is lowered and butt-joined with track skeleton of previously laid track, and is placed onto base by bringing train from under the skeleton, and then other end of new track skeleton is butt-joined with previously laid track. Loading and unloading of track skeleton is effected in horizontal plane. ^ EFFECT: improved efficiency owing to reduction of mechanical stress in skeleton members. ^ 4 dwg
