PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of driving a plasma display device to which a serial and a parallel resonance method can be both applied by one circuit and which can enhance energy recovery efficiency. SOLUTION: The method of driving the plasma display apparatus according to an aspect of the present invention, comprises the steps of applying a sustain voltage to a scan electrode, applying energy applied to the scan electrode to a sustain electrode through an inductor unit, applying a sustain voltage to the sustain electrode, and applying the energy applied to the sustain electrode to the scan electrode through the inductor unit.
